    4.1rc2

I was curious if there was any plan to support TLS + SNI in 4.1, since it exists in the version of OpenSSL you're shipping (and above).

    Lsapi api

I'd certainly be interested in porting some fcgi Python applications over to LSAPI, in addition to my fcgi C++ apps.

    TLS Server Name Indication/TLS v1.2

Apache supports it via mod_gnutls by means of the GnuTLS library. Yassl library supports it too. IIS7.5 supports it natively. The issue with waiting on OpenSSL is they're working on projects they're paid to do so, I don't think TLS 1.2 ranks too far up there. 0.9.9 was supposed to have it.

    TLS Server Name Indication/TLS v1.2

I was wondering the TLS SNI Extension could be added to LSWS for support of SSL name-based virtual hosts. It's a pretty recent thing, but for my sites I end up using a certificate with a subjectAltName. I currently self-sign instead of paying for this as my subjectAltName's change so I end up...

    [Resolved] IPv6 bugs.

I would also like to see these bugs fixed. I've been transitioning my sites to IPv6 as well.

    Graceful Restart/IPv6 Unable to Rebind

On my CentOS 5.2 x86 (kernel: 2.6.18) box I'm running Litespeed 4.0.9 and using IPv6. When I gracefully restart, Litespeed is unable to rebind the IPv6 addresses until the next graceful restart after all old processes shut down. 2009-08-01 18:59:51.520 ERROR HttpListener::start(): Can't...

LiteSpeed License is making it impossible to run user generated / web2.0 websites

Thanks for the reply, mistwang. I appreciate your help in clearing up my confusion, the site has since been moved to LSWS. :)

LiteSpeed License is making it impossible to run user generated / web2.0 websites

By dedicated you mean that the main content is erotic stories. What about a site that allows original stories of anything, which may or may not have erotic content? But, on the whole is mostly non-erotic. Currently this site is on lighttpd, and I'd like to put it on Litespeed.

    Some Ajax function notworking

Not a problem with LSWS. AJAX is just a name for XMLHTTP Requests done by Javascript which (usually) interacts with a dynamic page to seemlessly enter data/edit data and so on.

LiteSpeed License is making it impossible to run user generated / web2.0 websites

mistwang, you never did answer my question on this. What's LiteSpeed's policy on fictional erotic stories? One could argue that fiction is art, and not truly adult material, but I'd like to hear it definitively.

    gd jpeg

--with-jpeg-dir=/path/to/libjpeg It's usually not needed, so you may not have libjpeg or libjpeg-dev.

bytelog configured in LSWS vhost doesn't work.

No, it's natively configured through a LSWS vhost somewhat like the above.

How to auto restart litespeed if failed?

As far as I know, not directly. But you can use the bytelogging ability of Litespeed and have an automated process tally the bandwidth every so often and automatically shut down a site using the various methods at your disposal, namely rewrite rules.

LiteSpeed License is making it impossible to run user generated / web2.0 websites

I was curious about how the license covered erotica...fictional text stories, no pictures. I remember FanFiction.Net disallowed mature content at one point. Was this driven by the Litespeed license?

bytelog configured in LSWS vhost doesn't work.

drwxrwx--x 59 root nobody 124K Dec 27 13:23 domlogs/ Group has read/write/execute permissions. The server has been reloaded. Should this not be sufficient?

bytelog configured in LSWS vhost doesn't work.

I'm running LSWS 3.3.3 on CentOS Enterprise 4.6 i686. It is a dynamic site. I posted about a problem I had with the LSWS bytelogger a few months back, and just now checked to see if it had been resolved. I checked today to see if LSWS had started properly logging bytes again, but as of yet...

    Toggle for Byte Log Rollover

Hmm...perhaps this changed in LSWS3. I'm trying to debug my byte log issues. It appears like for a while it was rotated randomly, until it stayed for a while from February -> July 1st, and now my non-dated bytelog is blank, with full permissions for "nobody." Interesting problem :\

    Toggle for Byte Log Rollover

Unfortunately with how CPanel works, rollover doesn't seem to compute with it. Can you add a toggle for byte log rollover, or have it be date rather than size based?
