    CloudLinux NodeJS Selector

It won't be compatible until Litespeed supports Passenger NodeJS like they do for Python/Ruby. Until then you'll be stuck launching your own node applications and proxy'ing them.

How far off is LSWS 5.2 ?

Very curious about this as well considering cPanel just announced passenger support and it'll include an application manager: https://documentation.cpanel.net/display/66Docs/Application+Manager We'll need passenger support from the Litespeed side by the time cPanel 66 hits release builds.

Are there still plans to support passenger?

When do you expect a stable version of 5.2? The reason I ask is cPanel as also just added mod_passenger support in cPanel 66 meaning we'll be at a disadvantage when 66 is stable as Apache hosts will be able to offer newer versions of Ruby on Rails.

Problems this morning with litespeed going unresponsive

We are seeing this across a growing number of servers.

Are there still plans to support passenger?

Do you have any estimate on when we can expect something? Is it something we can expect this year? Or is it really far off? We're having more and more users asking about different versions of Ruby/Python and with that of course mod_passenger support as well.

    Apache Strict htaccess Option

The issue with this approach is we advertise a drop in replacement to Apache. Users then are using our servers to test applications and web sites assuming the same code works in Apache. The missing modules problem would also exist in Apache so I think that is not really the best of arguments...

    Apache Strict htaccess Option

As it stands currently Litespeed ignores htaccess fatal errors and logic mistakes and continues with execution. This poses a problem for users who expect to be able to interchange between Litespeed and Apache. As this would probably break a lot of installs the only solution I see is an option...

    Litespeed v4.2.5 feedback ?

We've reported two crashes thus far regarding 4.2.5. Other than that have not run into any issues.

[solved] [ACL] Access to context [/] is denied! after upgrade

We're seeing something similar and what is really strange is upon restarting litespeed the first request to the virtual host will work.

PHP using the same session IDs?

This happens in 4.1.8 as well and I'm not sure how recent it is or if it's Litespeed or not. I just don't think it happens typically at such a frequency though on another web server. Never seen session collisions at such a frequency until we switched to Litespeed. I also don't think it...

PHP using the same session IDs?

I'm going to bump this since we see this as well. I'm just going to throw something out there it's not possible that something with the PHP LSAPI implementation may be causing this?

    4.1.4. hangs sometimes

Yep we still see this in 4.1.7 at random as well. Just randomly happens on a server and restart lsws and issue is fixed then may not see it again only to have it pop up on another server.

    Upgrade to 4.1 GOLD

It also does not appear to work if you specify a specific IP for the web console as well. At least I think that's why ours does not work even when we turned off SSL to test if it worked with it off.

[Help!] 403 Forbidden error Powered By LiteSpeed Web Server

I am guessing you're triggering some sort of mod_security rule although tough to know 100%. Easiest way to find out and a simple solution would be to add this to your .htaccess file: SecFilterEngine Off SecFilterScanPOST Off Also could contact our support they should be able to...

    Reduce load/disk usage

Depending on the workload of the server deadline scheduler can help quite a bit: http://blog.hawkhost.com/2009/02/23/deadline-scheduler/ Also if it's mysql causing the slowness can increase it's tmp table size or even use a ramdisk for temporary tables. This though depends on you having plenty...

[RESOLVED] LSWS 4.0.13 - Signal 9's gone... Signal 15's new

We reported a problem with it when we tried 4.0.15 and eventually it was completely disabled. It was causing the cPanel restart scripts to lock up.

[RESOLVED] LSWS 4.0.13 - Signal 9's gone... Signal 15's new

I think the best solution to this problem is from someone from cPanel to actually provide documentation of cPanel's Apache logic. They are sending kills among other things at the Litespeed processes. Why I don't know but a lot of their Apache logic is hidden in compiled binaries now so without...
