Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (111) site:http:

test first with 127.0.0.1 MySQL sockets work fine with LSPHP 5.3.x and up. I've used LSWS for years and support 3rd party client whom run it and it's 2 cpu versions and such. Read error logs. Also if it said upgrade, make sure you have ALL MySQL packages installed yum search all...

The system I was mentioning does not run CloudLinux, XenServ does. My 3rd party IT clients don't. Their system is actually DirectAdmin CentOS 6. Munin was allowed to see the file, what I was saying was there was NO .rtreport files on the server even after updatedb not a single trace of one...

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (111) site:http:

Just use 127.0.0.1 for now One thing if you don't have all dev packages for MySQL/MariaDB/PerconaDB the LiteSpeed compile will give MySQL errors. Make sure 127.0.0.1 works first (ensure your user allows connections from localhost first, it should) You should be all set then. Also next time...

LSWS 4.2.0 Bug - No .rtreport files created

Looks like it just took forever to generate those files, now their there, then the litespeed munin graphs are working cept the uh requests one I think but I think thats due to change in your rtereport format. I will post the fix if I figure out why those graphs are blank. Thanks for lack of...

    Random 503 error

Try stracing a php process of said vhost that crashes. Also try re-building PHP and forcing a reinstall of latest LSWS.

    LSCache + Shared Hosting cPanel/WHM

Any proper setup methods? Appears we need all docroots of basic vhosts (Non LSCached) to have Cache Disabled in .htaccess? Whenever I try to enable LSCache it goes system wide and starts caching at it's own will, we run lots of client's sites on many systems so this behavior isn't...

New Install on cPanel, Sites Timeout

If you're loosing money being down I'd maybe consider a sysadmin or litespeed premium support http://www.litespeedtech.com/litespeed-support-services.html Wiki & Forum is free So is this a cpanel or directadmin system? You mention both. Also please try without eAccelerator, it's not worth...

If the directory has no files then you've probably got incorrect autoindex setup.

Error 503 on CMS Joomla 1.5

Have someone hit the scripts as top's running, get the PID of a PHP process and run strace -p PID and watch for funky output, I stop it after a bit so it doesn't fill with tons of info. If using BSD use truss. You're probably missing MySQLi/MySQL/ or another php module Paste phpinfo...

Let's discuss PHP security in shared systems

So far we use PHP5.2 (Could mostly use 5.3 but it's not much of any difference) We got the realpathcache fix for when open_basedir is enabled. Open_basedir is enabled as mentioned XCache is installed and php is set to spawn children processes by it's self not controlled by lsws (Which...

    Why is it so expensive?

I agree. I'm not going to bash LiteSpeed as I enjoy it's benefit's but our view's changing as the time goes by (and updates) The restarts every few hours are rather annoying, a product should be able to produce longer uptime then 2-3 hours. Just saying as opinion to LiteSpeed public...

    AIO block size

AIO block size would be best the avg file size/raid stripe size. I'd keep it low for a dynamic forum, 512 tops. Enable MMAP/whatever the other file cache is (Not LSCache) the static memory file caches, set the memory higher, on the MMAP or whatever the 2nd is that doesnt say for uber small...

    Litespeed alongside Apache

LiteSpeed by default supports this. However if you need static deliver look into a optimization sysadmin and varnish.
