Is Open LiteSpeed taking the place of LiteSpeed Standard (FREE)?

Before y'all do that... please make sure that Open Litespeed is fully .htaccess compatible before you pull the Litespeed Standard off the shelf. The fact that Open Litespeed doesn't support .htaccess compatibility out of the box... is a show stopper for me. Please keep Litespeed Standard...

    Update litespeedtech main page

It would be a very easy thing to remove news/events section, or at least update that section with current information. I realize that a redesign is on y'alls TO-DO List. I really think it would be to y'alls benefit and the benefit of this community to keep that area up-to-date. Your home page...

    4.2 - 503 Errors

@mistwang and @Nitewave - OK, now things are making sense. Forgive me for my frustration above. Thanks for being patient with me. The issue was that I needed to have my Virtual Host Template > PHP_SuEXEC > External App > Run On Start Up set to "Not Set" and my Server Level set to suEXEC daemon...

    4.2 - 503 Errors

I had it set to suEXEC in the server level (for all users) not the app level, so that's why I don't understand the original response to why it's causing a 503 error and to get rid of the 503 you have to turn off suEXEC mode altogether for no 503 to occur.

    4.2 - 503 Errors

4.2 does not support PHP suEXEC daemon mode????? Forgive me if I didn't understand, then why did y'all post the following blog post, saying just the opposite, "LSWS 4.2 introduces PHP suEXEC daemon mode"???? It makes it sound like it is supported in y'alls blog post. Also, why can't you use...

    4.2 - 503 Errors

I am still getting 503 errors when I've updated from 4.2 to 4.2.1 and when I upgraded to 4.2.2. I don't see any setting for LSAPI_ACCEPT_NOTIFY=1. Where is this LSAPI_ACCEPT_NOTIFY setting? Also, can you think of anything else. I would like to use the latest version of 4.2.2.

    Update litespeedtech main page

I second this request. If you want folks to follow the Twitter updates... why don't you have that feed featured on the homepage???? I do think having a website 2 years out of date really hurts potential newcomers. It looks like the project is abandoned, when it's not.
