    Apache handled content

A while ago (actually quite a while ago) we migrated from LSWS 3.x to 4.x. When we did that we never removed .shtml from the 'Apache handled content' field (and we still run Apache on an offset port). As a first step to getting rid of Apache I assume we can simply remove .shmtl from the field...

Does this only affect 4.0.x or is 3.x affected also?

How long is the Enterprise trial?

Hello, When we look at the product page (http://www.litespeedtech.com/products/webserver/overview/) it says that the Enterprise trial is 15 days. When we go to setup the trial license it says 30 days. Is the trial 15 days or 30 days? TIA

compiling php with GD and dom

It did fix it. Easyapache compiles numerous programs into /usr (including xslt) so the easyapache build recompiled those libraries and fixed it up. Sam

    secfilter not working

Wow! That is kind of a biggie. It would be nice if this was noted on the "comparison" page. We were thinking of using the free version for some lower volume boxes just for the DOS protection, but not without the mod_security rules. Time to had back to the drawing board. Sam

compiling php with GD and dom

OK, I'm slightly confused: - As far as I can tell, cPanel builds it's files under /home and a manual php build is not going to look there. - Relying on cPanel / easyapache fixed/custom built libraries may not be a great long term solution. Sam

compiling php with GD and dom

Hello Everyone, I know that this is really a php issue, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into this. We currently run cPanel V11 (release tree) on CentOS 4.5. We're trying to compile PHP with the LSAPI using the following options (and a bunch more): --with-dom...

    suexec and existing cPanel server

We understand very well it's "just a *nix ownership/permissions issue", but when you have 1000's of domains it's a big issue. I did not realize non-suexec is an option (we currently run mod_php). How do you configure LiteSpeed without suexec? Sam

    suexec and existing cPanel server

Hello All, We're looking at using LSWS on some existing cPanel web servers. We're running into a problem with suexec however (we kind of expected that). With mod_apache file uploads (gallery, joomla, mambo) are owned by "nobody". When we try to swtich to LSWS we get permission denied on...
