High response time on Port 80

Hi :

We always monitor our servers response time with pingdom. (HTTP port)
over last few months , this reponse avreage very high ( above 2sec)

server 32 core + 64 G ram + 2 CPU litespeed license.
server load under 32 always .

is this high reponse litespeed related issue ?

if you monitor a simple /hello.html page and response average is very high(above 2 sec), I'd agree it's a litespeed issue.

but if you monitor the a domain's homepage, which could be very complex, litespeed may just wait for backend php/mysql to generate the response, you can't blame litespeed. in this case, php/mysql is the bottleneck, or bad php code can be the culprit,

we monitor IP /TCP:80 or simple test page , like Hello.html

If your server's I/O wait is high, it could slow down LiteSpeed main server process. Then need to do some thing to minimize the impact of high I/O wait.

You should setup a monitoring script from localhost or in the same LAN. A long delay could be a network issue as well.

NO IO issue exist , this problem occur only main server IP . (shared) other IP haven't this issue and response very good.

It sounds like network or kernel TCP stack problem.
You can setup a local monitor script to check the delay. from local host and from local LAN.
Make sure there is no bandwidth throttling using in LSWS.
