Hosting directory /usr/local/lsws/DEFAULT/html

Hi,

I have a VPS running litespeed. I only have one website - no need for vhosts.

1) Is there anything wrong or unsafe about me using this directory to host my site?

/usr/local/lsws/DEFAULT/html

2) If I recompile a newer version of PHP, or upgrade litespeed, I just want to be sure nothing gets overwritten or damaged. Am I safe from this?

3) I also have some custom folders and files under /usr/local/lsws/DEFAULT. Will those also be preserved if I upgrade Litespeed or recompile new version PHP?

Thanks

LiteSpeed upgrade wont overwrite that directory. But it is not recommended, it is better to create your own vhost with its own vhost root directory. do not put it under /usr/local/lsws.
