Do I need to rebuild PHP to use the new LSAPI 6.2?
if your current lsphp is working fine, no need to rebuild it.
looking at the release log:
I think the main changes is suEXEC daemon mode which is more stable.
How do I find out which version of LSAPI is active?
there is a line like
Server API => LiteSpeed V6.1
in this example, lsapi version is 6.1
Mine is at 5.3. So, I'll have to rebuild php.
Another question, does the web admin console grab the latest master branch of Eaccelerator that supports PHP 5.4?
no. it still uses 0.9.6.1.
How can I modify it to grab the latest version?
you need to modify the admin utility code.
or manually build from source as follows:
Separate names with a comma.
