Php requests problems

#1
Hi, I have a PhpBB forum.

My configuration :
2 X 5520 XEON
12GB RAM
2 X SAS 15KRPM RAID-0
Cpanel, litespeed 4.0.11, php 5.2.9

My issue is about lsphp5. The php requests are very unstable, the server stop do php requests during somes seconds for exemple(I can do a video if you want) :

EXTERNAL APPLICATION : LSPHP5

WAIT Q (2 sec interval) 0 - 0 - 60 - 95 - 170 - 50 - 2 - 0
PHP req/s(2sec interval) 128 - 114 - 0 - 4 - 22 - 160 - 150 - 11

During this time, my website is lagging. (When that the webserver is not doing php request (req/s=0), the cpu load is very low). I changed my HDD, now I have 2 X 300GB SAS 15K RAID-0, but it's doing the same thing. I 12GB of ram and 0ko swap used.

DO you have an idea why I'm facing this issue?

thanks!

You can increase the "Max connectons" of lsphp5 external app.
There might be problem with DB SQL statements, which lock the table for long time, and block all other SQL query, thus all PHP processes hang.

Use command
mysqladmin processlist

to check active SQL querys when you experience the problem.
