Installation

This wiki refers to LiteSpeed's Enterprise version only. If you experience any problems when running the install.sh script on LiteSpeed's Standard Edition, please click here. To install OpenLiteSpeed, please check open.litespeedtech.com where you can compile from source code or install from RPMs.

If you are using a control panel such as cPanel, DirectAdmin or Plesk, the corresponding LiteSpeed auto-installer/plugin/extension for each of these control panels is highly recommended and listed below.

Note: This section only provides instructions on how to install LiteSpeed Web Server. You will also need to install and configure PHP to make your applications (such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Magento, etc) work. LiteSpeed comes with a very small PHP binary (lsphp5) with minimum configuration for testing purposes. You will likely have to customize PHP yourself to suit your needs. Please consult the PHP wiki section for installation/configuration.
