Smarty cache or LiteSpeed cache, which one to clear to avoid messy layout?

When a user talks about Prestashop cache or “Clear Cache”, it could mean Prestashop internal smarty cache and it doesn't mean LiteSpeed cache. When you talk about “Clear cache” or “Purge cache”, you should specify which cache you are referring to avoid confusing.

Prestashop Smarty cache is under Configure → Advanced Parameters → Performance → Smarty . There is a Clear cache on the top which is to clear smarty cache. When something has been modified, especially your theme changes, you will need to clear smarty cache.

When LiteSpeed cache module installed, you can locate it from IMPROVE → Module Manager → LiteSpeed Cache Plugin, once you click “Configure”, you will see all LiteSpeed Cache settings.

On the top of LiteSpeed Cache Configuration, there is a button called Flush All PrestaShop Pages, which is to clear LiteSpeed cache.

When you have made some changes in your theme, you might clear smarty cache but did not clear LiteSpeed cache, which may cause something wired.

You will need to clear both smarty cache and LiteSpeed cache to avoid messy layout problems.
