How to install LiteSpeed

Installing LiteSpeed Enterprise is very easy.

If you are using a control panel such as cPanel, DirectAdmin or Plesk, the corresponding LiteSpeed AutoInstaller/plugin/extensions for each control panels are highly recommended. Please check the installation instruction for cPanel, Plesk and DirectAdmin.

If you are using other control panel other than above, please follow this guild.

If you are not using any control panel but your website has already been setup with Apache, please follow this guild for installation/migration.

If you want to install LSWS to Mac OS X, please follow this guild.

If you are going to install LiteSpeed without any above situation, you can always use command line installation guild. Of course for CentOS system, you can also use RPM installation guild for faster installation.

This wiki covers Enterprise version only. For Standard Edition, please check here if you experience any problem by running the install.sh script. For openlitespeed installation, please check open.litespeedtech.com either compile from source code or install from RPMs.
