For an owned license, after 1 year of free upgrade, you will need to purchase a yearly upgrade if you want to keep LSWS up to date. However, you can choose to stay with the same version without upgrading.

• Login to your client area from online store, and select “Order”, then “Add On”. Select the license that you want to purchase yearly upgrade.
• Your license will be renewed on LiteSpeed license server automatically once invoice is paid.
• Your local license.key will be refreshed in one day. If you want it to take effect immediately, please do a graceful restart to retrieve a new license key.

• You can verify this by

  lsws/bin/lshttpd -V

If you don't see update expiration extended, please create a ticket with our license department from the online store.

• You will get a new invoice after a year, you can pay the invoice to get another year extension. If you no longer need to use LSWS, you can request cancellation to avoid new bills.
