I changed the permissions and now all users have full access to the entire directory. But no log is generated.

Exactly who must have permission in the rails log directory ?

I read the post: http://www.litespeedtech.com/support/forum/showthread.php?t=742&highlight=logs but how can I configure this permission or whatever I have to do to rails generate its logs ? I am using linux server. Thanks.
