    Hello,

I get now this message quit a few times a day:

web server with pid=3021 received unexpected signal=11, a core file is created. A new instance of web server will be started automatically!

I am using the latest Version of Litespeed with a quit powerful VWare based server. I had a look around in the forum but didn't find any post are related to this issue with the latest version

    Thanks

in case you're not sure what "Force Resinstall" mean:
lsws admin console -> Actions -> Version Manager -> 4.1.12 Force Reinstall

this is an old thread. for now, the latest version is 4.2.14. please force re-install 4.2.14
also, install gdb if you have not:
    #yum install gdb
then you may receive email with more detail info regarding the error. send the information here.

If I do a fore reinstall, will I have to reconfigure my server, or will it save all my configuration setting, virtual host settings, php builds, etc?

If you force reinstall, it will save all your settings. (It would be far to inconvenient if it erased all your settings.)

    Cheers,

    Michael
