I've had Litespeed 4.1 randomly crash on me a couple of times. I've now downgraded to 4.0.20 and I haven't had any issues with it.

I'd also be interested in trying this out. I'd like to see how Nginx handles just the images, css and etc.. while Litespeed handles PHP.

You need gcc installed. Run: apt-get install gcc

Did you make sure to run: chkconfig httpd off

CentOS 5.5 should be fine to use.

I am have the Litespeed Web Server addon in cPanel. How should i upgrade to 4.0.17? I tried uploading install.sh and functions.sh to /usr/local/lsws and it didn't work. Also there isn't any upgrade option in the version manager of Litespeed Admin panel.
