[solved] Need help downgrading from Enterprise to Standard

My server is running version 3.2.4. I bought an Enterprise license several years ago. My datacenter did some maintenance last night and rebooted my system after all these years and lsws does not come back up because the license is no longer valid. (I was under the impression that the license...

optimize for 2k request / second

Are there any other known limitations to concurrent connections? Would faster servers with more RAM continue to increase the number of possible concurrent connections, or is there some other bottleneck somewhere?

Does the mgr_ver.sh still work for downgrading from the commandline?

Nevermind, I tested this on my test server and it works well. :) David

Does the mgr_ver.sh still work for downgrading from the commandline?

I am getting ready to upgrade again from the web interface but want to make sure I have a way back to the old version from the commandline just in case the server doesn't go up again. Does the [your_install_dir]/admin/misc/mgr_ver.sh utility still work? Thanks, David

Help! I cannot start litespeed from commandline!

Ah ha! The config file was inside of the lsws/admin/conf/ and not the lsws/conf/ Now I know for next time. 30 minutes of down time is not too bad. All is good! David

Help! I cannot start litespeed from commandline!

I am trying to find the config file to turn the admin listener Secure back to 'No' as this should fix it. I cannot seem to find the config file for this...still looking. Please let me know where that config file would be if you get this. Thanks! David

Help! I cannot start litespeed from commandline!

Good morning, I have run into something of an emergency. I really need to brush up more on how this system works, it is extremely important that I get this server up again ASAP! All I did was set the admin listener Secure to 'Yes' and on graceful restart, it brought the whole webserver...

Version 3 is fantastic, Thank You LiteSpeed!

I absolutely love the new interface and thank you for all the hard work to make an inexpensive and easy to use, all-in-one, EXTREME SPEED server! Keep up the great work, I will keep buying more licenses whenever I need more servers. David

Having trouble with virtual hosts--need some help

Good morning, I know I must be doing something wrong. Whenever I change the document root for a virtual host, it changes it for the other virtual host as well. Please note: I can make the Virtual Host Root different, but that doesn't cause the domain via the listener to treat it as the...

I followed everything twice, cannot get SSL to work

I want you to know this doesn't affect what I think of LSWS, I absolutely love your program!!! Your software is still 1000's OF TIMES EASIER than setting up Apache/TUX/eaccelerator. SSL was my ONLY complication! Good job to your team! :D :D :D David

I followed everything twice, cannot get SSL to work

Wow, it just works now all of a sudden! :D :D :D Why did it take time for it to come into effect? That makes it impossible to troubleshoot. Kind of disturbing... Thank you for your help! :) David

I followed everything twice, cannot get SSL to work

Sorry, I did exactly as you said and it does not work... I thoroughly reviewed both files "ca_new_2018.txt" and "ComodoSecurityServicesCA.crt" and found that they were identical anyway. David

I followed everything twice, cannot get SSL to work

By the way, for chained certificate, I tried YES, NO, and N/A and I restart the server every time I make changes. David

I followed everything twice, cannot get SSL to work

It has to be a problem with what I'm doing, but I have absolutely no idea what it is. I followed your HOW TOs instructions "How to configure SSL using the private key and certificate in LiteSpeed web server?" and it says nothing about the CA. I'm just not familiar with SSL, but I'll just...

I followed everything twice, cannot get SSL to work

I tried this as well and had the same result. I figured that (not knowing how SSL certification actually works or what is involved) that Comodo had something reset on their end which prevents the old apache certificate from working. If they generate a new certificate for the new server, will...

I followed everything twice, cannot get SSL to work

Did you know that this certificate is 18 months old? The dates 3/27/2005 - 5/3/2007 can be seen on the last screen shot in my previous post. I had this company make a certificate that worked on apache for 18 months. David

I followed everything twice, cannot get SSL to work

What?! I tried SSL v2.0, I tried SSL v3.0, I tried TLS v1.0, I tried HIGH, I tried MEDIUM, I tried combinations of all of these. It won't even allow me to reach the page if any of these are chosen. Here is the most recent email (out of 15 emails) with Comodo SSL where I...
