I reverted back to 4.2.12 since I find 5.1 is slow and it's probably because it's still in the RC stages. Is this a know bug in RC1?

Yup that's exactly what I did. I used Easyapache to build apache, then had WHM build a matching php for LS. Easyapache doesn't automatically build imagick.so since there are no options to enable it in the config, so it must be done separately. the pecl install imagick command did build it...

Since I'm using cPanel, I simply issued this command to build Imagick: pecl install imagick Current version is 3.1.0. It automatically wrote my php.ini by enabling the extension.

Easily reproduced. Not every JPG files experience this. Some uploads through, some don't. On Apache however, everything goes through. I don't have any security filters setup either.

I can't seem to change the password for the Web Admin Users. It said Invalid Old Password even when my password is entered correctly. Anyway I can fix this?

I fixed my problem. For some reason my fcgi-bin folder has the ownership root:root. I changed it to nobody:nobody to fix this issue. Should I have it root:nobody instead?

php -i looks fine. I can only get up to sapi/litespeed and in there are random files. I tried to run make and it just gave me make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.

Ok so I tried to compile PHP 5.2.6 and made neccessary changes in the 'utility' folder. I installed php with prefix /usr/local since thats how cpanel installed php there in the first place. But in the fcgi-bin directory, the lsphp5 is still version 5.2.5. The CLI php is updated, but not the api.

For some reason if I try to use the Use Configuration from Previous Build button, nothing happens. I also see that script error icon at the bottem left in Internet Explorer. Edit: Solved

is the lsphp5 in /usr/local/lsws/fcgi-bin automatically updated after being compiled? When I check whether the file was modified, it was still a few months old. Edit: nm i restarted LS and its updated

Good find! I copied and paste from the phpinfo and I didnt realize that --prefix=/usr was there. So after the compilation is done, is the PHP LSAPI in the /usr/bin or is it in /usr/local/lsws/fcgi-bin? I did change the Install Path Prefix to /usr.
