png images are not converted to webp

Hello Team,

I have completed "Image Optimization" from the LSCache Plugin and also "Image WebP Replacement" is turned ON





Now these changes seems to be working fine for JPG Images where the image automatically gets converted into webp format



But for the same page none of my PNG images are loaded as webp format



I checked and the webp format of these images are available on my server

The same can be verified here

But why LSCache fails to load webp format for PNG images?

Same issue for me.
Image optimisation do not work for png images on my sites.

OK, I solved my issue resaving my .png files with photoshop (file/export/save for web). I upload them again into my media library and lscache optimised those files correctly .

I guess something was wrong in those files and LSCache couldn't convert them correctly.
