Webp Images

#1
Hi,

I'm using Litespeed Cache on my Wordpress site and I have activated '' Image WebP Replacement '' on the settings.
However, Images on my site (png, jpg) aren't changed to webp images. It still looks like png and jpg on Opera and Chrome. How can I change image's format?

Help me please.. Thanks!

Olá!

Acabei de transferir do servidor GoDaddy para um cliente da AWS.

E o site ficou muito leve automaticamente sem ter que clicar para otimizar as imagens.

Os URLs de imagem agora são assim:
wp-content / uploads / 2019/08 / xBG-01.jpg.pagespeed.ic.gURmiLTPgQ.webp

Como obtenho isso no meu servidor também?

Tem alguma coisa a ver com a AWS?
O cliente não sabe qual configuração do servidor.

Hi @ofmarconi ,

image optimize to webp format and webp replacement functions are provided from LSCache. There's nothing to do with AWS platform.
Please check wikis here:
https://www.litespeedtech.com/suppo...wp:configuration:media#optimize_webp_versions
https://www.litespeedtech.com/suppo...iki:cache:lscwp:configuration:webpreplacement

Best
Hi, yes, but LSCache doesn't add .pagespeed to the filename as I showed in the example, does it? Still sure it's him who converted?

According to the LSCache documentation you submitted it should just add the .webp to the end of the file name.

staying:
image.jpg.webp

And not:
image.jpg.pagespeed.ic.gURmiLTPgQ.webp

Thank you.

I didn't use it, it just happens on my client server, if I go back to my server the WebP disappears, so my suspicion about the relationship of AWS with Litespeed.

Is there an apache module that makes the server convert all images to WebP? Something like that?
