[Resolved] License issues across multiple accounts

Yes, reported above. I also left a voice mail on their support line. Ticket system is messes up. And it is not just one license, or one portal (client) account. Consider switching to APACHE if you can... to get around this.

    Performance

Hello, Being a long time user of LiteSpeed Web Server, we would like to consider using the LiteSpeed Load Balancer. A few questions if I may: a) Is 200Mbps an obtainable throughput from LSWB? b) If yes, is a Intel Xeon-SandyBridge E3-1270-Quadcore [3.4GHz] with 4GB RAM and two 750GB...

We have this happening also on a 4.0.17 server... but the same problem exists when we switch to Apache... so I don't think it is a LiteSpeed problem.

    About the license and CPUs

Using IOZONE... you can easily test disk IO, and set block size and file size. If you want to test with noatime off or on, you can easily do that too - and know how much it helps on your system. http://www.iozone.org/ You can also use SYSBENCH - use that to do OLTP benchmarks, test...

    Server Load!

Oh - easy place to see IOWAIT. Login to your LiteSpeed admin panel... look at server stats... it is listed... CPU %user %nice %sys %iowait %irq %soft %steal %idle intr/s Warm regards.

    Server Load!

As for noatime... it will help.. but it is actually minimal. I have done testing... only expect a very very slight performance gain. You can google "noatime" and find many pages about how to enable this attribute. As for optimizing your mySQL, download and install MONyog... 30 days is...

    Server Load!

I will be the IOWAIT guy.... ha ha.. What is your servers IOWAIT? If high, mySQL will fall on it's face - with high load... and this will snowball, with excessive threads being created, and get worse and worse. Check and fix your IOWAIT (in addition to optimizing mySQL my.cnf file)...

    About the license and CPUs

IOWAIT is the killer.... it is why we went to RAID 10 with 12 15K SAS drives... we increased our IO performance 5x over a 4 disc RAID 10 array (also 15k drives). In my humble opinion, processor speeds almost make no difference... the key to a fast site (in addition to something like...
