Cannot get PHP and RoR to work together

I installed litespeed on a FreeBSD 6.2 system and got it to serve a RoR application using a vhost for it but I cannot get my second vhost using PHP to work. Each time I try to access the second vhost it displays RoR routing errors which should not be displayed at all. Any ideas?

Maybe the listener to vhost mapping to the second vhost is wrong, so it served by the first vhost. turn on deubg logging, and check error.log.
