Configuration Pointers for Small, low traffic Website

#1
Hello All,
I am loving litespeed as my replacement for apache thus far. I followed the directions from the wiki (pickled onions page) and got it up and running and I am very pleased with it. The site that I am testing it on is my hobby site for the family and therefore doesn't recieve much action. It is a gallery2 installation and gets about a dozen hits per day.

I notice that when no one has been to the site in a few hours the initial several page loads are about twice as long as usual. I am not sure why??

I am using eaccelerator and have all of the scripts for the site cache (3000+) and box it is running on is underloaded as well. Any suggestions for tweaking the settings in litespeed to alleviate this?

Maybe the PHP process has been stopped due to the long idle, please check the PHP LSAPI page for configuration options to keep it running.
