hi dear nightwave , i have read all that link before posting here. i asked how should i receive a free standard license , not a free trial license.
in camparison charts there are 3 options , 1-free standard , 2-free 15 days trial ( which is a 2 cpu enterprise edition ) 3- paid/ordered licenses.

i have used option 2 for two weeks , and now i need option 1 . how can i order a free standard license?

i have installed litespeed using whm/cpanel plugin and i dont know which package it used for installation. should i uninstall the current litespeed and re-download and re-install it from the free package?
is there any commands to detect which version is installed ?

Code:
# /usr/local/lsws/bin/lshttpd -V
2011-03-21 15:26:17.802 [NOTICE] Detected XEN VM
[OK] Your trial license key will expire in 14 days!
this is what i found in console of litespeed :

Litespeed Web Server - Enterprise Edition - Version 4.0.20

for standard version, it'll show something like
#/usr/local/lsws/bin/lshttpd -v
LiteSpeed/4.0.20 Standard

no need uninstall the trial version, just install the standard version to overwrite it.

the binary package is here:
http://www.litespeedtech.com/litespeed-web-server-downloads.html
the standard version only has 32-bit (though it runs on 64 bit machine well)

extract the .tar.gz, run install.sh in the package.

ok thanks for the answers . i wanted to see if i can install free version , and use 5 vhost from httpd conf files and combine it with manual vhost configuration for the rest of the hosts on the server . or some how config it with apache having apache for static files and litespeed standard for php/dynamic files. but i`m not that advanced yet .
and the price of 1/2 cpu licenses do not worth doing that much of work for me with my current busy time.

so i`ll buy a 1/2 cpu license after these second 2 weeks of trial. ( if i can configure suphp/php.ini problem ) which you already guided me on another forum thread. i was very busy these weeks and i couldnt test that ways you mentioned yet. i`ll try it ASAP ... thanks.
