OCSP stapling with cPanel / vhost configuration

... however, is there a way that is compatible with the normal httpd.conf cPanel utilizes?

It seems like there's a sort of undesirable work-around here: https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/forum/threads/enabling-ocsp-stapling.9980/ . Shifting the burden of maintaining SSL certificates from the customer to the web host is at least inconvenient.

please update to latest 5.0.19, see if the issue still there.

Aside from running 5.0.19 , is there anything more involved?

In the virtual host:

SSLUseStapling on

latest version ( now 5.0.19) can handle some cases automatically without any manual work.
if you have found any issue (still need some manual change than apache), please post here.

Please try 5.1.7 version. 5.1.x has added SSL OCSP Stapling support through Apache httpd.conf.
While 5.0.x and 4.2.x support LSWS native configuration only.
