[solved] After running yum update, OpenLiteSpeed is Missing In /etc/init.d/lsws

I just updated today via yum update in CentOS 7, and OpenLiteSpeed no longer starts at boot and it cannot be started via systemctl. I can start it via its installation directory, though. As best as I can tell, I need this file. Please help.

Can you try running

/usr/local/lsws/admin/misc/rc-inst.sh

It should fix this issue. I am currently looking into why this script did not run on the upgrade.

Marvelous! Fixed. Thank you. CyberPanel may have had something to do with the issue. By the way, the folks at CyberPanel may have mentioned that there is a particular incompatibility when Docker is running with LiteSpeed that keeps certain built-in apps in CyberPanel from running (PHPMyAdmin and Rainloop). Fortunately, I can install these web apps in a public_html directory of one of my domains and they work fine in that context. Details at link:
