[Solved] LiteSpeed + cPanel , it's not being restarted after adding addon domains

#1
Not sure if someone else has posted this, but I've been dealing with a situation that when a cPanel user adds an addon domain or subdomain, it gets added to /user/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf but somehow LiteSpeed is not being restarted/reloaded, so I have to manually do it. I've not found nothing interesting in the logs either...

I'm running LiteSpeed 4.1.13 and latest WHM/cPanel

check WHM/cPanel => Service Configuration => Service Manager => httpd. make sure both Enabled and Monitor are checked. There maybe a minute or two delay on this. So just be patient.

@webizen, both are enabled, I wish it was a patience issue hehe, no matter 1 minute or 1 hour, LiteSpeed is not getting restarted.

what about "Auto Reload On Changes" (Admin Console => Configuration => Server => General => Using Apache Configuration File)? It should be set to either 'Yes' or 'Use Apache binary wrapper'.

When manually restart Apache from WHM Restart Services, a message shown up indicating Apache still in the middle of rebuild. The following flag still present as if EasyApache still running while no EA process exists. This prevented Apache(LSWS) from restarting. IOW, it is WHM issue. Once the file is removed, LSWS restart is working.
~> ls -l /usr/local/apache/AN_EASYAPACHE_BUILD_IS_CURRENTLY_RUNNING
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Jul 23 05:18 /usr/local/apache/AN_EASYAPACHE_BUILD_IS_CURRENTLY_RUNNING
We have come up with this guide for future reference.
