Symlinks just don't seem to work...

Hey guys,

I have created a symlink inside one of the phpSuexec sites and no matter what, I can't seem to get it to work.

"Follow Symlinks" is on, and the two folder (vhost root and user directory) are both owned by the same user and group.

If I enable Indexes, I can see it, but upon clicking it, I get a 404.

Secondly, I have even tried chmod'ing the directory to 0777 just to see if it was a permissions problem.

Can anyone lend some help here?

404 is "not found", so it should not be a permission issue. have you double checked the symbolic link is good? Please it in command line first.

Interesting, I have made some progress...

It looks like my group never had read/write access... it does now... consider this solved and me a little sorry since this is very simple problem with a very simple fix!
